To teach with Sage Business Cases, there are several ways to provide access to the case for students in your class. And, to support your teaching the majority of cases include teaching notes accessible only by faculty; Read on to learn how to access them.

Provide student access

There are two ways to provide access to your students.

  • From your World Classroom/Canvas course, provide a permalink to the case within the database.
  • Or, download the PDF of the case and upload the file to your World Classroom/Canvas course page.

For either option, we suggest that you include the full case citation and the case permalink.

  • From the case record, select the Cite icon (" ") to capture the citation.
  • Select Get link to capture the permalink.

Access to case teaching notes (Webster faculty only)

Only faculty are permitted to access the teaching notes.  Here's how to set up access:

  1. Login (using your last name and Webster ID number) to the Sage Business Cases database.
  2. From the top, right menu bar, select My Profile and create your personal Sage profile
    • Please use your Webster University email
  3. After you have set-up your Sage profile, request access to the teaching notes by completing the library's eResources form.
  4. The library will verify your status as an instructor and enter an access code directly into your Sage profile.
    • Please allow two (2) business days.
  5. Once we email you that your access has been activated, you will need to sign in to your Sage profile to open the teaching notes for all cases that have them.
