How can I connect my laptop at the Library?

Answer

Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi)

Webster students, faculty, and staff: connect to the network WU_Wireless and log in with your Connections ID.
Alumni, Retirees, Visitors, and Eden users: connect to the network WU_Guest. You will then be redirected to a self-registration form for Internet access.

Wired Internet

Available throughout the building via network drops (ethernet jacks). You will need an ethernet cable (CAT5 or CAT6) in order to connect your laptop. You may use your own cable, or, if you are a current Webster or Eden student, faculty, or staff member, you may check one out at the Circulation Desk on Level 1.

Library staff will assist users with connecting their laptop to network drops. This will take the form of providing you with instructions so you can make the appropriate changes to your laptop. Library staff will not make modifications to users' laptops under any circumstance.

Users with University-owned laptops may contact Webster's IT Service Desk for assistance with problems.
