The collection

The audio-visual collection consists of Blu-Rays, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, videotapes, LP records, and laser discs. The Blu-Rays, DVDs, CDs, CD-ROMs, DVD-ROMs, videotapes, and laser discs are located on Level 1 of the Library. The LP records are located on the Lower Level of the Library.

Searching the collection

There are 2 methods to electronically search the collection:

Loan policy

  • Current Webster and Eden students, faculty, and staff can borrow up to 20 items of each format for 7 days at a time (with the exception of LP records which circulate for 14 days).
  • Other libraries or visitors our media is not available for interlibrary loan or for loan to individuals
    • A visitor may use the audio-visual collection in the Library only. You will be required to leave your photo I.D. card at the Level 1 Circulation Desk. Check-out is not available.

Listening or viewing audio-visual media in the library

The following are ways in which you may listen and/or view the collection while in the Library. Not all locations have the ability to play all types of media.

  • Listening/viewing rooms on Level 1.
  • Individual listening/viewing carrels in the Listening/viewing area, Level 1.
  • Group study rooms located throughout the building.
  • All public computers may be used to view DVD's and CD's.
