Request an article - St. Louis area patrons |
|
First figure out if the article is available online or in print. Search the Journal/Magazine/Newspaper A-Z List using the title of the journal to determine if we have the journal and where you may find it. If the article is available online, log into the database using your last name and Webster University 7-digit ID, or library barcode for Eden patrons. If the article is available in print only at either the Webster University Library or the Luhr Reference and Reading Library at Eden Theological Seminary, you must retrieve the copy of the periodical from the library where it is shelved.
What do I do if the article is unavailable either online or in print? When you find a citation in one of our databases you will save yourself time by using the Article Linker button to get to the Article Linker page where you'll find directions for requesting a copy of the article. Once you click on the large, blue, “Request it Here” button you'll immediately see that all of the citation information has been filled in for you and you simply have to submit the request. The Article Linker page shows the article is available, but it isn't. What do I do? If the Article Linker page has incorrect information from the publisher or vendor and does not link you to the article and is not available in print, go to the ILLiad Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery system and submit an article request. Be sure to add a note that the Article Linker holdings are incorrect. If this is your first time using the system you will be prompted to create an account. Now that I’ve requested an article when and how will it arrive?
