WorldCat is a global library catalog that helps you find books at libraries near your location—this is especially helpful for online or off-campus students.

To use it:

1. Go to worldcat.org.

2. Type the book title or keywords in the "Items" search bar.

   • For common titles or authors' names, try searching for the title and the author's last name. using the Advanced Search (select the icon at the end of the single search box). 

3. If you add and sort by your location, WorldCat will show you which nearby libraries have the book, starting with the closest. 

4. From the results list, you may add other filters, including print or ebook, author's full name, publication year, etc.
