Tashkent students

What can I request?

Due to the high cost of international shipping, Tashkent students cannot have books or media shipped to them from the St. Louis campus. Webster University Fair Use Guidelines do allow us, however, to copy and post up to 25% of a book.

Does Tashkent's Library own the book or is there an eBook available?

First, search Tashkent's library catalog to see if the book is available at the Tashkent Library or if there is an eBook available.

If Tashkent doesn't have the book available or there isn't an eBook...

Use your Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery account (ILLiad)  to request a book chapter.

  1. Log into your Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery account (ILLiad)
  2. Select "Request a Book Chapter" and fill out the form as completely as possible, and submit your request.

How long do I have to wait before the chapter or chapters arrive?

If the book from which you've requested a chapter or chapters is available from the Webster University Library's collections we will copy and post the requested chapter or chapters within two business days (excluding weekends and holidays).

If, however, we have to find another library to lend us the book, it takes an average of 10 working days for us to receive and post the requested chapter(s) to your Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery account (ILLiad) and notify you via the email you submitted. You may also log into your Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery account (ILLiad) at any time in order to check on the status of your request(s).

If we are unable to fill your request we will notify you via the email you submitted.
