Where are materials located in the library building?

Answer

  • Most materials listed in the library catalog will be found in one of the primary collections listed below.

  • To find a specific item in the library building, feel free to ask the librarian for help! Or find the item's call number in the library catalog. The item on the shelf will have a matching call number on the spine. A call number is like the street address for a house but will start with a letter(s) of the alphabet. Almost every physical item in the library has a call number on the spine, except newspapers and magazines. For more information see How do I find materials by call number?
