Can I make photocopies in the Library?

Answer

Current Webster student, staff, and faculty can make copies at the library by logging in on the printers.

How to copy

  1. Load your document into the document feeder in a profile orientation.

    • If you are copying a photograph or object, place them onto the scanning bed.

  2. Log in to the printer with your ID or by typing in your login information.

  3. Choose "Copy" from the options presented.

  4. Check to make sure all settings are correct.

    • If your document is double sided, make sure the "2-sided to 2-sided" setting is selected.

    • If you loaded your document any way other than profile, make sure the original load direction is correct.Choose "Binding positions" and then "Original direction" and make sure the image matches your document.

    • You can view a preview of your copy by hitting the "Basic" button at the top of the screen.

  5. Specify the number of copies with the gray "No of Sets" box in the top right corner.

  6. Hit start to make your copies.

You can also make copies from the Canon flatbed scanners found in the eCommons and in the 24/7 lab. Simply place your documents face down on the scanner bed and press the "Copy" button. You can then log in at the printer to print it. (For more information on using the Canon scanners, see the FAQ linked below.)

Visitors or alumni can make copies from a paid photocopy machine found in the 24/7 lab.
